"Words
cannot emphasize how amazing and devoted Dr. Vinitsky has been towards
me and my underlying health. His knowledge and dedication towards, not
only medicine, but to me as an individual, has been live changing. I
cannot give enough gratitude to his willingness to go above and beyond! I
will forever be grateful to Dr. Vinitsky for the "impossible", into a
soon to be mother!"

"
Meticulous and thorough are two words to describe Dr. Vinitsky, Open
minded too. He's great at teaching you how to help yourself and as such
is more than a doctor, rather a "partner" in your medical care. "

"Dr. V. is top notch. He has helped my family over the years with Lyme,
mold exposure, EBV, etc. In my experience, he does not employ a cookie
cutter approach. Far from it. His treatment plans - that are tailored to
the individual, using pharmaceuticals, herbs, and nutraceuticals. I am
very pleased."

"I like it that he is open to alternative treatments but I find it very
difficult to talk reg our concerns or our progress with anything that's
recommended. Also there is too much time spent on taking notes - which
comes into our hourly billing rate, which is way too high. Some doctors
have an assistant who can take quick notes and I feel he should do the
same as time spent in typing is way too much.
I'm quite impressed with his physical exams and treatment of acute
infections."

"Dr Vinitsky is a reliable, knowledgeable and caring physician. I went to
him for 11 yrs when I lived in the county his office is. His background
in alternative/traditional medicine is invaluable and quite hopeful for a
successful outcome of treatment. He is an extremely avid reader of
medical journals. He has a gift for accurate diagnosis. He is not
controlled, nor manipulated by the drug industry. If you are looking for
a physician whom spends ample time listening to you & treating you,
he's it!"

"He
gave me a new hope for life. I can fix and ride motorcycles without
fear of pulling over on the side of the road under some bridge with
shade dying in agony from my migraines.
I am referring all my friends and family to him because I cannot
begin to explain the level of care, bedside manners all around best doc
and trust me I've met over 25 doctors and he is like all the specialists
wrapped in one package. I am kitty with joy knowing I have him to take
care of me."

"I've been a patient of Dr, Vinitsky for over 8 yrs, he was a life savior! I had suffered with chemical sensitivity for years and had been tested and treated for a variety of symptoms by my primary physician with no relief or answers, including being prescribed anti depression drugs. After being referred to Dr. Vinitsky by another environmental illness specialist, Dr. V. did a battery of tests and continues to do blood testing to keep track of my vitamin levels etc.. however I've never felt that this was excessive, rather scientific follow up. Dr. V does spend a lot of time with each patient so be prepared to wait for your turn or call ahead and check on his availability. I've always been grateful for his attention to my issues and treatment. He is a concerned physician who is always seeking answers to improve patient progress. He does recommend a lot of dietary supplements but has always given instructions to check on line for the best price. Recently he has offered private label combination medications to cut down on multiple meds, but I've never felt pressured to switch from my on line suppliers. It should be noted, in my case, many of these are meds he also takes for his health issues."

"Dr. Vinitsky is an absolute gem. I was extremely sick with chronic fatigue syndrome and depression. I went to him because no other doctor could help me. He began treating me a little over a year ago, and I am a completely different person. I have to say that Dr. Vinitsky saved my life and I am extremely grateful to him. The only downside is that he tends to run very late for appointments, but I usually call ahead and find out when to come, so it's not an issue. He spends as much time with each patient as is necessary"

"Dr. House in real life!! My toddler had a systemic yeast issue that no one could cure. Dr. V got
to the core and cured it instead of just treating symptoms. I trust him
completely."

"
Dr. Vinitsky is very patient and kind. Also, I feel his medical
knowledge is truly rare. He is intelligent and brilliant! He has
helped me and my family considerably. I definitely can tell a difference
in my health since first visiting him. "

"I could not fine any doctors in Virginia that could help me. I lost the
ability to walk, speak clearly or make much sence of what I was saying. I
felt as if I was in a bad dream. I found Alan Vinitsky. Many
tests later with some costing (insurance would not cover) close to
$1,200 each.
These test showed I had been exposed to dangerous pesticides. The
combination of these pesticides was close to agent orange from my place
of employment. Allen Vinitsky saved my life. I came back close to normal
as I will ever get from the damage that was done. I know if I had not
found Allen Vinitsky I would have died. This happened in 2002 -2005 at
that time, his staff should have been fired and replace with people that
care and know what they are doing."

Allergy/enviro sensitivities M.D. in Gaithersburg, Md "I
searched these forums a while back for a doctor for my son and got some
leads, but none to Dr. Alan Vinitsky. I think he might be Maryland's
greatest secret. He literally wrote the book on environmental allergies
and toxins. He is liscenced for kids and adults. He is knowledgeable
about heavy metals, yeast,
allergies and sensitivities. He helps kids with developmental delays...
He is very friendly to children and he gives lots of time in
appointments. I am grateful to finally have been referred to him."

"Alternative
treatment. We have tried behavior modification with some success.
Positive reward systems seems to work to some extent. The best thing we
have found though was Dr. Alan Vinitsky. He had our son's blood tested (not
covered by insurance though) and we discovered our son had toxic levels
of copper and other metals in his blood. We also discovered that he
had almost non-existent levels of many important vitamins and nutrients
in his blood. While expensive, we have been supplementing his diet with
the best bioavailability we can buy and are seeing great results. The
two things we have found through Dr. Vinitsky that have been our saving
grace are sublingual vitamin b-12 and liquid form glutathione. When he
gets too hyper, we give him B-12 (not any sublingual b-12 - we've tried
the cheaper stuff from the vitamin shop and had no results). It calms
him right down. The stuff we buy is only available through doctors--"

"After
becoming very sick from a sick building over 15 years ago, Dr.
Vinitsky, became an invaluable member of my medical team. He has been
instrumental in helping me to return to a state of health that allows me
to enjoy life. I am still a patient and I refer people to Dr. V
regularly. Quite frankly, there is no other way to put it than to say
that Dr. V is brilliant. His understanding of nutrition, environmental
issues, and the complex workings of the entire human body is genius. His
writings about his discoveries will continue to amaze and guide the
medical community long after we are all gone, in my
opinion!"

"Dr. Vinitsky is the best we have ever seen. Specializes in and is able
to treat the most confounding issues. Solved a lime/bartonella issue
with my wife. Walked us through severe pesticide poisoning and continues
to offer the most insightful possible options and remedies that not
only take aim at present issues but the thwarting of future ones.
Fantastic......."

"Yes, his staff could be more cooperative and helpful yes, he most
likely gives much of the same supplements to everyone yes, he had some
licensing issues before (he can explain that, and let me tell
you, any worthwhile Lyme-literate MD probably will have some issues with
either licensing or insurance --do your research] and yes, unless you
get the first appointment of the day, you may have a long wait (there's
a reason for that -- HE DOES NOT RUSH THROUGH APPOINTMENTS). If you
want a drive-by pediatrician to just write you a quick prescription
after an even-quicker diagnosis, then find someone else. If you want a
pediatrician/family doctor who will take the time to consider medical
history, environmental exposures, nutritional deficiencies, and more,
and then treat with proven nutritional protocols, etc., AND treat you as
if you have a brain, you should give Dr. Vinitsky a try. Don't just
judge him on the wait time, his staff or what appears to be a
one-size-fits-all protocol. If you're lucky enough to get an
appointment, you will leave feeling blessed. He is a rare find in a sea
of mediocrity."
